Healing is hard—and it’s even harder when you feel like you’re walking through it alone.

I take a person-centered, collaborative approach to therapy—because no two people are the same, and healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. There are many different therapy models I may draw from, but what matters most is what works best for you. As we get to know each other, we’ll figure that out together and tailor our work to fit your needs, your story, and your goals.

I also work from a systemic lens, which means I consider the bigger picture of your life—your family dynamics, relationships, culture, faith, race, and past experiences. These systems shape how we learn to relate to ourselves, others, and the world. Understanding them gives us deeper insight into what you’re carrying and how to begin shifting it.

My Approach to Therapy

My Training and Background

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Texas, with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University. I’m certified in EMDR and have advanced training in a range of approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Couples Therapy. This diverse training allows me to pull from the approaches that best fit your unique story, whether you’re working through trauma, anxiety, relational struggles, or a major life transition.

Outside the Therapy Room

When I’m not in session with clients, you can usually find me on the hunt for the best food in what I consider the food capital of the world—Austin, of course. I’m a big fan of pickleball, long walks, audiobooks, and a good mix of anime and reality TV (balance, right?). I deeply value connection, rest, and spending time with the people I love—just like I encourage my clients to do.
